About the Role:

Shade Equipment Co Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Equipment Installer to join our growing team in Winchester, VA! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in delivering quality installations and exceptional service to our customers. This position is 40hrs/week with some Saturday hours required. The salary will be based on the candidate's experience, work record, certifications, and licenses. Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and set up snow plows, salt spreaders and various styles of truck/van bodies
• Read and interpret installation manuals and technical diagrams
• Inspect and test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic installation issues 
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe working condition

Requirements:

• Prior experience in equipment installation or a related trade field preferred
• Must have own tools with locking tool box. Some specialty tools are provided by the Company
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or installation guides
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and dependable transportation required
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Welding experience
• Knowledge of vehicle wiring 
• Ability to operate a forklift
